Because I’m not doing physical art classes right now, here is a throw-back to a time when I did.
I taught this Wooden Cross art class to seniors, kids and special needs… and they all loved it. The students could pick from my many bins of supplies and any color paint you can imagine. No two were alike. Some simple. Some quite detailed… but they all turned out to be delightful, individual pieces of art.
While they created, the conversations were always fascinating to hear. I could tell if the student was a “believer” or not by what they made and their part in the discussion.
I just listened. The dialogue was always an interesting exchange of views points, and very telling.
I miss these creative and insightful experiences. Hoping next year we can do this again.
