Another senseless shooting that COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED.
I disagree with the idea that there was no MOTIVE.
On a news channel I heard early on that Thomas had been rejected from a Rifle club.
For a sensitive kid that had passion and a dream to be a “sharp shooter”, this had to be traumatizing as well as humiliating.
Not being able to express his feelings, his anger only became more and more devastating as the years went on.
I cam imagine he wanted to “SHOW THEM” buy killing someone, anyone.
Investigations reveal that Thomas had searched several prominent people ahead of time.
This is where ART with a Purpose comes in.
If this “At-Risk” person had made some art to show his inner angst, perhaps this attempt could have been avoided.
He would have been able to express his thoughts and feelings through the creative process.
